The University of North Carolina baseball team has garnered its highest ranking in history this week as Collegiate Baseball newspaper has made the Tar Heels #2 in the nation, ranking only behind Atlantic Coast Conference foe Florida State. UNC has tied its best ever start by going 16-0 to begin the 2000 campaign. Carolina will next face Western Carolina at Boshamer Stadium on Tuesday, March 7 at 3:00.
