The second-ranked Tar Heels (17-0) took an 11-8 win over Western Carolina (4-13) yesterday as Carolina withstood a late Catamount's rally. Scott Autrey (4-0) picked up the win, while rad House (1-1) suffered the loss. Sean Farrell was 3-4 with two home runs and five RBI to lead the Carolina attack.
