Women In Sports Spring Tour Wraps Up With Softball on Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.-Saturday's softball game against Georgia Tech will be the final stop on UNC's Women in Sports 2000 Spring Tour, a celebration of Carolina's exceptional women's sports programs. The Tar Heels will take on Atlantic Coast Conference rival Georgia Tech at 4 p.m., and the first 100 fans to arrive will receive free baseball caps and t-shirts. There is no charge for admission to Finley Field.
UNC is enjoying one of its finest softball season ever and is now 43-15 on the season, 4-2 in ACC play. The Tar Heels will face the Yellow Jackets again on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in their final game before the start of the ACC Tournament, scheduled for April 29-May 1 in Tallahassee, Fla.
