Football Tickets on Sale Monday

CHAPEL HILL --- Tickets for the 2000 University of North Carolina football season go on sale at the athletic ticket office on Monday, May 1st. Season tickets for the entire six-game package at Kenan Stadium and individual game tickets for Tulsa and Maryland will be available.
Tickets may be purchased in person at the ticket office which is located at the front of Koury Natatorium (adjacent to the Smith Center) on Skipper Bowles Drive or by calling 1-800-722-HEEL (4335). Ticket applications will also be available at Carolina's official internet site, www.TarHeelBlue.com.
Season tickets for the six games are $148. The 2000 home schedule includes the September 2 season opener against Tulsa (Youth Day), September 23 against Marshall (Family Weekend), September 30 against Georgia Tech (Monogram Day and North Carolina High School Athletic Association Day), October 14 against NC State, October 21 against Clemson (Rams Day) and November 11 against Maryland (Homecoming).
The games against Tulsa and Marshall will kick off at 6 p.m. Starting times for the remaining four contests will be announced at a later date.
Please note that Educational Foundation members (who have already received applications) and University faculty/staff must return ticket applications by mail. The deadline for Foundation members is May 8. The deadline for faculty/staff is May 19.
Ticket applications may be returned by mail to: UNC Athletic Ticket Office, P.O. Box 3000, Chapel Hill NC 27515. Tickets may be purchased by cash, check, money order, VISA or Mastercard.
