Radara McHugh Named ACC Pitcher Of The Week

University of North Carolina junior Radara McHugh has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. McHugh started both of the Tar Heels' games last week in a doubleheader against East Carolina on May 3. In the first game, she went the distance in a 2-0 win, scattering four hits and striking out nine. In the second game, a 4-3 win, she pitched four innings, giving up one hit and one earned run. For the week, she posted an ERA of 0.64
McHugh, from Tulsa, Okla., is 23-6 on the season and leads the ACC with a a 1.07 ERA.
