"I am glad to see this resolved without any further delay. It's unfortunate a misunderstanding resulted in a young man's reputation being unfairly tarnished.
Our past history shows we take any incident of this nature seriously, investigate it thoroughly and deal with it on an individual basis as allowed by University policy. Julius Peppers is a nice young man who maintained his innocence from day one. All of us are glad this has been dismissed."
