Coach Torbush Post-Game Quotes
September 30, 2000 | Football

"Georgia Tech did a great job of fighting back when they had to. They made a bunch of key drives, and we were not able to keep them out of the endzone.
"They did what they needed to do to win the football game. They'd lost a couple of tough ball games over the past few weeks.
"It was a very frustrating loss, a very disappointing loss. I felt like we could win, should win.
"After about a quarter and a half, I thought we were playing great. From that point on, I thought everything went downhill.
"We were very inconsistent. Offensively, I thought we made some real big plays. At the same time, we weren't as consistent as we need to be on defense.
"Their third-down conversions killed us.
"I thought our kicking game was not very good. The punter dropped a snap and got us in trouble, then we got one blocked on the next series. It really cost us.
"Overall, I just don't think we played very well. It's really disappointing and frustrating.
"Right now we've got a hurt and angry football team. The coach feels the same way, because we let one slip away that I thought we could win."
