Ethan Albright
Center/Washington Redskins
ehind the passing of Tony Banks, the Redskins finally won their first game of the season Sunday, defeating the Carolina Panthers in overtime 17-14.
Dre Bly
Cornerback/St. Louis Rams
ly did not figure in the Rams' 34-14 win over the New York Jets. He has nine tackles, a forced fumble and three interceptions on the year -- one of which he returned for a touchdown.
Na Brown
Wide Receiver/Philadelphia Eagles
rown and the Eagles defeated the New York Giants, 10-9, on Monday Night Football in a big NFC matchup. Brown has five catches for 66 yards on the season.
Alge Crumpler
Tight End/Atlanta Falcons
Crumpler continued his stellar play on Sunday by hauling in five balls for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' surprising 20-13 win over the Saints. Crumpler has established himself as one of the top tight ends in the NFC. On the year he has 11 catches for 195 yards and a touchdown, an average of 17.7 yards per catch.
Russell Davis
Defensive Tackle/Arizona Cardinals
Davis recorded one tackle in a 24-16 win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Through five games Davis has 22 tackles.
Kevin Donnalley
Offensive Guard/Carolina Panthers
Chris Weinke and the Panthers offense had a tough time moving the ball all day against the Redskins, and in the process became the first team to fall to Washington this season. The Panthers lost the game 17-14.
Deon Dyer
Fullback/Miami Dolphins
Dyer and the Dolphins had a bye this week. Next week Miami faces the Seahawks. Dyer is used primarily as a blocking back in a strong Dolphins running game.
Ebenezer Ekuban
Defensive End/Dallas Cowboys
Ekuban and the Cowboys had a bye this week. They face off against the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday. Ekuban is returning from an early season injury and has four tackles on the year.
Greg Ellis
Defensive End/Dallas Cowboys
Ellis has 18 tackles and two sacks through four games for the Cowboys. They take on the Cardinals next week in Dallas.
Bernardo Harris
Linebacker/Green Bay Packers
Harris had a solid game on Sunday, recording six tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. The Packers lost, however, as the Vikings proved that Green Bay's vaunted defense isn't perfect, winning 35-13. Harris has 37 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble on the year.
William Henderson
Fullback/Green Bay Packers
Henderson had one reception for 12 yards and one carry for zero yards on Sunday, as the Packers lost to the Minnesota Vikings 35-13. Henderson has 11 yards on six carries and 99 yards on nine catches through six games.
Jimmy Hitchcock
Cornerback/Carolina Panthers
Hitchcock and Panthers lost another close game, this time to the previously winless Redskins, 17-14, in overtime. Hitchcock finished the game with one tackle and has 17 tackles and one interception on the year.
Sedrick Hodge
Linebacker/New Orleans Saints
Hodge saw little action in the Saints' 20-13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The rookie has played in five games and has three tackles.
Vonnie Holliday
Defensive End/Green Bay Packers
In a battle against the high-powered Vikings, Holliday recorded two tackles as the Packers lost 35-13. This season Holliday has 19 tackles and three sacks.
Leon Johnson
Running Back/Chicago Bears
Johnson was recently added to Chicago's 53-man roster. He started his NFL career with the New York Jets.
Freddie Jones
Tight End/San Diego Chargers
Jones saw three balls thrown his way on Sunday, pulling them in for 56 yards. The Chargers beat the reeling Broncos, 27-10. Jones has 14 catches for 161 yards thus far, with one touchdown.
Marcus Jones
Defensive End/Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs lost to the upstart Steelers on Sunday, 17-10. In a game that featured two of the top defenses in the NFL, Jones finished with three tackles, upping his season totals to 12 tackles and two sacks.
Randy Jordan
Fullback/Oakland Raiders
Jordan and the Raiders had a bye this week. Next Sunday they take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Through five games Jordan has eight carries for 14 yards and four catches for 32 yards.
Eddie Mason
Linebacker/Washington Redskins
The Redskins won their first game of the year on Sunday, beating the Panthers 17-14 behind Brett Conway's field goal in overtime. Mason had two tackles in the game and has four tackles on the season.
Mike Morton
Linebacker, Indianapolis Colts
Morton and the Colts again lost big to the Patriots, this time losing 38-17. Morton has one tackle through four games.
Keith Newman
Linebacker/Buffalo Bills
On Thursday night Newman and the Bills won their first game of the season, beating the Jags 13-10. Starting alongside Brandon Spoon at linebacker, Newman had one tackle on the night and has 15 tackles through five games.
Riddick Parker
Defensive Tackle/New England Patriots
Parker had three tackles in the Patriots' win against the Indianapolis Colts,
38-17. This season he has eight tackles and a sack.
Mike Pringley
Defensive End/San Diego Chargers
Pringley saw little time on Sunday, as the Chargers beat the Denver Broncos 27-10.
Jeff Saturday
Center, Indianapolis Colts
Peyton Manning and the Colts offense never established a steady rhythm as the Colts fell once again to the New England Patriots 38-17.
Brian Simmons
Linebacker/Cincinnati Bengals
In a battle between two of the NFL's most surprising teams, Simmons and the Bengals lost big to the Chicago Bears, 24-0. Simmons had four tackles on the day, bringing his season totals to 28 tackles, two sacks and an interception.
Thomas Smith
Cornerback/Indianapolis Colts
Smith and the Colts defense were picked apart by David Patten's four total touchdowns in a 38-17 loss. Smith tallied one tackle in the game and now has eight on the year.
Brandon Spoon
Linebacker/Buffalo Bills
Spoon earned a start and the Bills defense played a big role in Buffalo's first win, as they defeated the Jaguars 13-10 on Thursday night. The rookie has nine tackles on the year.
Bracey Walker
Safety/Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs lost again on Sunday, 24-16 to the Arizona Cardinals. Walker has one tackle for the 2001 season.
