Ethan Albright
Center/Washington Redskins
The Redskins had a bye this week. Next Sunday they take on the Broncos in Denver.
Dre Bly
Cornerback/St. Louis Rams
The Rams had one of their best all-around team efforts of the year on Sunday as they trounced the Carolina Panthers, 48-14. Bly recorded three tackles in the game and now has 12 tackles, a forced fumble, three interceptions and one touchdown on the year.
Na Brown
Wide Receiver/Philadelphia Eagles
In a surprising blowout, Brown and the Eagles beat up on the Vikings, 48-17. Brown did not catch any balls in the game but has seven catches for 95 yards so far this year.
Alge Crumpler
Tight End/Atlanta Falcons
Teaming with fellow rookie Michael Vick, Crumpler hauled in his second touchdown of the year and the Falcons held on to defeat the Cowboys, 20-13. Crumpler has quietly been putting together a stellar rookie season, which includes 14 catches for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
Russell Davis
Defensive Tackle/Arizona Cardinals
In a 17-10 loss to the New York Giants, Davis recorded four tackles, bringing his totals to 30 tackles and one sack.
Kevin Donnalley
Offensive Guard/Carolina Panthers
Even with a new quarterback at the helm in Matt Lytle, the Panthers couldn't break out of their losing streak on Sunday as they were beaten badly by the Rams, 48-14.
Deon Dyer
Fullback/Miami Dolphins
ehind the running of Travis Minor, the Dolphins held off the Colts for a 27-24 victory. Dyer, used primarily as a blocking back, has no stats in the season.
Ebenezer Ekuban
Defensive End/Dallas Cowboys
Ekuban and the Cowboys lost to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, 20-13. Ekuban is recovering from an early season injury and has four tackles on the year.
Greg Ellis
Defensive End/Dallas Cowboys
Ellis had a big game against the Falcons on Sunday, recording seven tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble, but his team ended up losing the game, 20-13. Ellis has 34 tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles through eight games for the Cowboys.
Bernardo Harris
Linebacker/Green Bay Packers
In a key inter-divisional match-up, Harris tallied three tackles as the Packers knocked off the Chicago Bears, 20-12. Through eight games, Harris has 48 tackles, one and a half sacks and one forced fumble on the year.
William Henderson
Fullback/Green Bay Packers
Henderson was used primarily as a blocking back on Sunday, but he still managed to haul in three catches for 41 yards in the Packers' 20-12 win over Chicago. Henderson has 11 yards on six carries and 140 yards on 12 catches through eight games.
Jimmy Hitchcock
Cornerback/Carolina Panthers
Hitchcock and Panthers could do nothing to stop the high powered Rams offense in a
48-14 loss - their eighth in a row. Hitchcock had two tackles in the game bringing his totals to 25 tackles with one interception on the year.
Sedrick Hodge
Linebacker/New Orleans Saints
Hodge saw little action in the Saints' 28-27 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The rookie has played in eight games and has three tackles.
Vonnie Holliday
Defensive End/Green Bay Packers
Holliday had seven tackles in the Packers' 20-12 victory over the Bears. This season Holliday has 35 tackles and four sacks.
Leon Johnson
Running Back/Chicago Bears
Johnson was recently added to Chicago's 53-man roster. He started his NFL career with the New York Jets.
Freddie Jones
Tight End/San Diego Chargers
Jones is nursing an injury and saw little action against the Broncos on Sunday. The Chargers lost the game 26-16. Jones has 19 catches for 202 yards thus far, with three touchdowns.
Marcus Jones
Defensive End/Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs, in a close game against winless Detroit, won 20-17 on a last second field goal by Martin Gramatica. Jones finished with two tackles, upping his season totals to 17 tackles and two sacks.
Randy Jordan
Fullback/Oakland Raiders
Jordan had two catches for six yards in a 34-27 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday night. Through eight games, Jordan has 11 carries for 59 yards and six catches for 38 yards.
Eddie Mason
Linebacker/Washington Redskins
The Redskins had a bye this week and will face the Broncos next Sunday. Mason has four tackles on the season.
Mike Morton
Linebacker, Indianapolis Colts
Morton and the Colts lost yet again to division rival Miami, 27-24. Morton had two tackles in the game and now has three on the season.
Keith Newman
Linebacker/Buffalo Bills
Newman and the Bills lost to the Patriots 21-11. Newman played well in the game, recording seven tackles and a forced fumble, and he now has 31 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble on the year.
Riddick Parker
Defensive Tackle/New England Patriots
Parker had one tackle in the Patriots' 21-11 win over the Bills. This season he has 11 tackles and a sack.
Mike Pringley
Defensive End/San Diego Chargers
Pringley saw little time on Sunday, as the Chargers were beat by the Broncos, 26-16.
Jeff Saturday
Center, Indianapolis Colts
The Colts not only lost the game to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, but they also received word that their star running back, Edgerrin James, will be lost for the year due to a knee injury he suffered in Week 7.
Brian Simmons
Linebacker/Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals endured a complete meltdown in the second half against the Jags, as they lost the game, 30-13. With six tackles in the game, Simmons now has 38 on the season, with three and a half sacks, an interception and a forced fumble.
Thomas Smith
Cornerback/Indianapolis Colts
Smith and the Colts defense could not stop Jay Fiedler and the Dolphins in a 27-24 loss. He has 11 tackles on the year.
Brandon Spoon
Linebacker/Buffalo Bills
Spoon and the Bills defense had trouble containing Antowain Smith all day long, as the Bills fell to the Patriots 21-11. Spoon has seen his playing time increase lately and with five tackles brought his season tackle total to 23.
Bracey Walker
Safety/Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs lost on Sunday, 27-7, to the New York Jets. Walker has one tackle for the 2001 season.
