TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Tampa Bay rookie Dauntae' Finger was released from a hospital Tuesday, one day after leaving practice early because of an irregular heartbeat.
Finger was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for precautionary tests on Monday.
"All the tests came back negative," Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy said. "He should be at practice (Wednesday)."
Finger, a seventh-round draft pick, was released from the hospital Tuesday morning. He watched a special teams workout from the sidelines in the afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound tight end left the practice field Monday after feeling light-headed and experiencing shortness of breath during the team's afternoon workout at the University of Tampa.
