Schedule Change for Bunting TV Show
September 15, 2001 | Football
Sept. 15, 2001
John Bunting's weekly TV show, which normally airs at 12:00 Noon each Sunday in the Triangle, will be seen at 12:30 p.m. this Sunday, September 16th, on WTVD (Raleigh-Durham- Fayetteville).
The programming department at the ABC-TV affiliate said this week's time change was due to continuing network news specials about the Attack On America.
There has been no indication of any other rescheduling on the various affiliates statewide which carry the 30-minute show featuring the head football coach at Carolina.
Appearing this week with Bunting and co-host Woody Durham will be UNC Athletic Director Dick Baddour. He's explain the decision which led to the postponement of all ACC competition this weekend due to the week's tragic events in New York City, Washington and western Pennsylvania.
Durham has a feature on the 1963 assasination of President John Kennedy which caused the only other postponement of a UNC football game. Various Tar Heel players will react to this week's actions.
Running back coach Andre Powell will be interviewed as one of Carolina's Priceless Gems.
And, coach Bunting will update the team's progress, and offer a preview of next week's home opener against sixth-ranked Florida State. It'll be Carolina's third game among its first four against a Top Six opponent.
