Arrive early. This is especially true of games in Chapel Hill as parking lots tend to fill up quickly and many are reserved for Educational Foundation members or require a special pass. The earlier you arrive, the better parking space you will have. Plus, you'll have that much more time to enjoy your tailgating before the game starts.

Wear Carolina Blue. It's a great color, and it distinguishes Carolina fans apart from the orange, maroon, purple and red that often invade our stadium.

Remember the necessities. You can't have a tailgate without food and beverage. Pick up some chicken before you reach your parking destination or bring in your momma's best country cookin' to liven up the party. And please, put all beverages in a cup and be responsible.
