*Co-National Player of the Year in 1995 as named by Soccer Digest and National Player of the Year in 1996 as named by Soccer America and Soccer Buzz.
*Recipient of the Patterson Medal in 1997, given to the Most Outstanding Senior Athlete at the University of North Carolina.
*Alternate member of United States National Team which won the Gold Medal in Women's Soccer at the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Athens, Ga.
*Co-captain of the 1996 Carolina team which recaptured the NCAA championship; also played on NCAA championship teams at Carolina in 1993 and 1994.
*Played all 210 minutes of the 1996 NCAA Final Four; scored the game-winning goal in the NCAA championship game at the 110:56 mark.
*Most Valuable Offensive Player of the 1996 NCAA Tournament.
*A first-team All-America selection in 1996 by Soccer America, Soccer News and Soccer Buzz; a first-team All-America selection in 1995 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Soccer News.
*Second team All America selection by the NSCAA in 1994 and 1996.
*1996 nominee for the prestigious Honda Award.
*Former UNC and NCAA career record holder for games played with 102. *Ranks sixth in UNC history in career points with 191, eighth in career goals with 67 and second in career assists with 57.
*Scored 16 game-winning goals during the course of her career.
*First-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection in 1994 and 1995.
*Most Valuable Player of the 1995 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.
*Played on four ACC championship teams for Carolina.
*Finalist for the 1996 Hermann Trophy and 1996 Missouri Athletic Club Sports Foundation Player of the Year Award; 1995 runner-up for the Missouri Athletic Club Sports Foundation Player of the Year Award.
*Featured in Faces in the Crowd in a December 1996 issue of Sports Illustrated magazine.
*Scored all three goals for the East Team in the 1997 Umbro Select Senior All-Star Game in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The East team defeated the West Team 3-0.
*Called by Tar Heel head coach Anson Dorrance possibly the finest leader he has seen in his 19 years of coaching at Carolina.
*Finished her academic career with a 3.14 grade point average.
*Winner of 1996 Soccer Buzz National Sportsmanship Award.
