Friday, March 29
Scott Autrey struck out a career-high 12 batters and the Tar Heels scored 14 runs over the last five innings to take a 15-4 win in the first night game ever played at Virginia.
Saturday, March 30
Freshman Garry Bakker turned in an outstanding pitching performance, going the distance for a shutout while striking out 13 batters and walking just one Cavalier. Sean Farrell and Ryan Blake had two hits apiece to lead the Carolina attack in a 5-0 win.
Sunday, March 31
Virginia snapped Carolina's 13-game winning streak with a 8-3 win on a damp Easter Sunday in Charlottesville. Carolina gave up four unearned runs in a big six-run fifth inning by the Cavaliers. UNC had eleven hits to six for Virginia, but stranded 13 base runners.

Carolina will play host to Liberty on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., then face Coastal Carolina on Wednesday in another 6:00 p.m. game at Boshamer Stadium.
The Heels then travel to Wake Forest for a 3:00 p.m. game on Friday, a 6:00 p.m. game on Saturday, then a 1:30 p.m. game on Sunday to conclude a big ACC matchup.
Note: Saturday's game will be played at Ernie Shore Field. The other two games will be played at Gene Hooks Stadium on Wake Forest's campus.
