The Tar Heel Sports Network is pleased to announced a new radio home for the Tar Heels in the Triad. WTHZ 94.1 FM (HITZ 94 FM) will join the Tar Heel Network starting this Saturday as the Carolina football team hosts Miami (Ohio) with a broadcast start time of 12:30pm.

"Now everyone in the Triad can hear the live broadcast of Woody and Mick on HITZ 94 FM," says WTHZ General Manager Gig Hilton.

WTHZ has agreed to air all Tar Heel football and basketball game day broadcasts as well as the Carolina Coaches Shows with Coach John Bunting and Coach Matt Doherty, and the "Inside Carolina" daily shows hosted by Woody Durham. WTHZ at 94.1 FM has a power of 100,000 watts. It's regional signal will cover the entire Triad area including Greensboro, Winston/Salem, High Point and surrounding communities.
