*Unanimous selection as the 1994 National Player of the Year.
*Recipient of the Hermann Trophy that year and also named Player of the Year by the Missouri Athletic Club, Honda, the Intercollegiate Soccer Association of America, Soccer America, Soccer News and College Sports.
*Recipient of the 1995 Patterson Medal given to the Most Outstanding Senior Athlete at the University of North Carolina.
*Member of the 1996 U.S. National Team which captured the Olympic Gold Medal at the Centennial Olympics in Athens, Ga.
*Member of the 1999 United States World Cup Team which won the gold medal. Scored two goals versus North Korea in last round of pool play.
*Winner of the 1995 Mary Garber Award as the Most Outstanding Female Athlete in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
*Selected the Most Outstanding Player at the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament in 1991, 1993 and 1994.
*ACC Player of the Year in 1994 and ACC Freshman of the Year in 1991.
*Four-time first-team All-ACC and All-South selection.
*Named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team in each of her four seasons.
*Most Outstanding Defensive Player of the 1991 NCAA Tournament and Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the 1994 NCAA Tournament.
*Led Carolina to NCAA championships in 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994.
*Tied for fifth all-time in scoring in ACC history with 189 points.
*Also is fourth in ACC history with 69 goals and tied for fifth with 51 assists.
*Was the all-time leading scorer in ACC Tournament history with 10 goals and four assists for 24 points in nine games before those records were shattered by Tar Heel forward Robin Confer in the 1996 ACC Tournament.
*Had seven goals and nine assists for 23 points in 14 NCAA Tournament games.
*Named the National Freshman of the Year in 1991 by Soccer America.
*Led the Tar Heels to a 97-1-1 record in her four-year career.
*Scored three goals against Duke in the 1994 ACC Tournament championship game.
*Scored a pair of goals against Notre Dame in the 1994 NCAA title game.
*Led the nation and the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring as a freshman with 21 goals and 16 assists for 58 points in 1991.
*Started at center midfield for the United States National Team in the 1995 World Championship; overall has 132 caps for the national team and has scored 44 goals.
*Tied for the USA Team lead in scoring in the 1995 World Cup with three goals.
