Women’s Soccer Prepares For Quinnipiac

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 8 Carolina women's soccer returns to Dorrance Field for the second match of the season as it hosts Quinnipiac Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heels and Bobcats are set for a 1 p.m. kickoff with streaming available on ACCNX.
UNC and Quinnipiac will clash for the first time in program history this weekend.
Heading into Sunday, UNC will look to build off the momentum from their season-opening, shutout win. Carolina picked up their 12th straight win in home openers as they cruised past Fairfield, 4-0. Hope Munson and Bella Devey led the way each recording a brace against the Stags.
Quinnipiac heads into the matchup after opening the season with a 2-2 draw at Holy Cross.

- Amari Manning and Deus Stanislaus were called up for a U-17 WNT camp and are set to miss the first three matches of the season. The camp is the final training session as the national team prepares for the U-17 FIFA World Cup later this fall.
