CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The University of North Carolina softball team will compete at the Triangle Classic in Raleigh, N.C., Feb. 14-16. The tournament will have pool play on Friday and Saturday with bracket play beginning Saturday afternoon. UNC will face Rutgers and Dayton on Friday, Feb. 14, at 4 and 6 p.m. The Tar Heels will take on Charleston Southern at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15.
The Triangle Classic will take place at Walnut Creek Park in Raleigh. Due to the weather forecast, the games on Saturday, Feb. 15 will be pushed up. The games are now scheduled for 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. for the finishing touches of pool play. Bracket play will begin at 1:30 p.m. for the Gold and Bronze brackets, and 3:30 p.m. for the Silver bracket.
