Tar Heels Host Old Leaguers Weekend

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - All former North Carolina baseball players are invited to attend the annual Old Leaguers Weekend, set for Nov. 8-9 in Chapel Hill. Activities include the Carolina-Wake Forest football game, a cookout and social at Boshamer Stadium and a golf tournament at Finley Golf Course.
Head coach Mike Fox and the Tar Heels had a record turnout for this event last year and over 40 former players participated in the golf tournament.
The schedule for this year's event is as follows:
Saturday, November 8
Gates open at Boshamer Stadium, 10:30 a.m.
Fun on the field, 10:30 a.m. - Noon
Football game against Wake Forest - Time TBA
Cookout/Social for all Old Leaguers - 30 minutes after the game on the first base bank and Boshamer
Sunday, November 9
Golf Tournament - Tee times from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
$57 cart and green fee to be paid at the course on Nov. 9.
Collared shirt required. Soft spikes only.
