NFL Update: Week Eleven

Former Tar Heel Alge Crumpler had another impressive performance in the eleventh week of the NFL. Crumpler led the game with 47 receiving yards and caught two touchdown passes to help the Falcons to a 14-10 victory over the New York Giants.
Former Tar Heels Ronald Curry and Sam Aiken also had an impressive week on offense. Curry caught a 22-yard touchdown pass in the Oakland Raiders' game against the San Diego Chargers. Aiken had the longest reception of the game in the Buffalo Bills' victory over the St. Louis Rams when he caught a 54-yard pass from Drew Bledsoe.
Update on former Tar Heels in the NFL:
Sam Aiken, Buffalo Bills - Played wide receiver and had two receptions for 61 yards in the Bills' 37-17 victory over the St. Louis Rams.
Ethan Albright, Washington Redskins - Played long snapper in the Redskins' 28-6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dre' Bly, Detroit Lions - Started at cornerback and had two tackles in the Lions' 22-19 loss to Minnesota Vikings.
Alge Crumpler, Atlanta Falcons - Started at tight end and had four receptions for 47 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' 14-10 victory over the New York Giants.
Ronald Curry, Oakland Raiders - Played wide receiver and had four receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown in the Raiders' 23-17 loss to the San Diego Chargers. He also returned two kickoffs for 28 yards and had one tackle on special teams.
Russel Davis, Arizona Cardinals - Started at nose tackle and had one tackle in the Cardinals' 35-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Ebenezer Ekuban, Cleveland Browns - Started at defensive end and had one tackle in the Browns' 10-7 loss to the New York Jets.
Greg Ellis, Dallas Cowboys - Started at defensive end and had four tackles and two pass deflections in the Cowboys' 30-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
William Henderson, Green Bay Packers - Played fullback and had one reception for 20 yards and one tackle on special teams in the Packers' 16-13 victory over the Houston Texans.
Sedrick Hodge, New Orleans Saints - Started at linebacker and had four tackles in Saints' 34-13 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Vonnie Holliday, Kansas City Chiefs - Played defensive end and had one tackle in the Chiefs' 27-19 loss to the New England Patriots.
Freddie Jones, Arizona Cardinals - Started at tight end and had five receptions for 73 yards in the Cardinals' 35-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Keith Newman, Minnesota Vikings - Started at linebacker and had four tackles in the Vikings' 22-19 victory over the Detroit Lions.
Willie Parker, Pittsburgh Steelers - Played running back in the Steelers' 19-14 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Julius Peppers, Carolina Panthers - Started at defensive end and had four tackles, two sacks, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble in the Panthers' 35-10 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh Steelers - Started and kicker and made two extra points and a field goal in the Steelers' 19-14 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Dexter Reid, New England Patriots - Played safety and had three tackles on special teams in the Patriots' 27-19 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis Colts - Started at center and blocked for 275 yards rushing and 211 yards passing in the Colts' 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.
rian Simmons, Cincinnati Bengals - Started at linebacker and had six tackles in the Bengals' 19-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ryan Sims, Kansas City Chiefs - Started at defensive tackle and had one tackle in the Chiefs' 27-19 loss to the New England Patriots.
Jeb Terry, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Played offensive guard in the Buccaneers 35-3 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
David Thornton, Indianapolis Colts - Started at linebacker and had four tackles in the Colts' 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.
Michael Waddell, Tennessee Titans - Played cornerback in the Titans' 18-15 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also returned one punt for eight yards.
racy Walker, Detroit Lions - Started strong safety and had six tackles in the Lions' 22-19 loss to the Minnesota Vikings
