Ashley Prange Continues To Lead Lady Gamecock Classic

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. - North Carolina golfer Ashley Prange, a senior from Noblesville, Ind., fired a second round two-over-par 74, yet maintained her lead in the Lady Gamecock Classic.
In team standings, the first place Tar Heels hold a two stroke lead over South Carolina with a two round total of 605. The University of Texas is 14 strokes off the pace at 619, while Furman University rest in fourth at 620.
Katie Miller, a freshman for UNC, moved into a tie for second with an even par round of 72. Meaghan Francella moved into a tie for 10th. Romi Irons and Beth Marushak are tied 55th. Stacy Hilton, playing as an individual, dropped from 30th to 44th with a second round score of 84.
The 54-hole event continues through Sunday and is being played at The University Club, a par 72, 5,996-yard layout.
