Mike Fox Radio Show Debuts Monday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The 2004 edition of North Carolina baseball's Mike Fox Radio Show will debut at 6 p.m. Monday, March 29 from Tyler's Restaurant and Taproom at 102 East Main Street in Carrboro. The first program will precede the final Sylvia Hatchell Show, which is set to air at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by Carolina baseball play-by-play announcer Jones Angell, the shows can be heard live on AM-1360 WCHL.
Monday's Mike Fox Show is the first of 10 scheduled to air each Monday throughout the rest of the season. The final show is slated for May 31, which falls between the ACC Tournament and the start of NCAA Regional play.
Fox has his Tar Heels on a roll entering this weekend's series with Florida State at Boshamer Stadium. Ranked 16th nationally according to Collegiate Baseball, Carolina is 18-5 overall and has won 14 of its last 16 games. This weekend's games between the Tar Heels and No. 12 Seminoles are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Angell and color analyst Adam Pohl will call the action on WCHL Friday and Saturday, while Sunday's game can be heard at TarHeelBlue.com.
