CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 8 North Carolina makes its first television appearances of the season when the Tar Heels travel to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech at Russ Chandler Stadium this weekend. Carolina's games against the Yellow Jackets on Friday and Saturday will air live on Fox Sports Net South at 7 p.m.

Fans will also be able to follow the action on AM-1360 WCHL both Friday and Saturday, while an audio broadcast will be available at TarHeelBlue.com for Sunday's 1 p.m. game.

At 23-6, the Tar Heels are off to their best start since the 2000 team opened the season 21-0. Carolina is ranked No. 8 by Collegiate Baseball, No. 13 by ESPN/SportsWeekly and No. 14 by Baseball America. The Tar Heels are the highest ranked Atlantic Coast Conference team in all three polls.
