Tar Heels Host Campbell in a Saturday Doubleheader

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina softball team hosts its final doubleheader of the regular season on Saturday as they take on Campbell at 3 p.m. The game marks senior day for UNC as they honor their five seniors; Jessica Graziano, Emily Price, Jessica Robinson, Natashalyn Snipes and Dionne Streete.
The Tar Heels are 40-18 on the season, while Campbell brings a 20-32 record. UNC is led by senior Emily Price, as she leads the ACC in several batting categories. Price is hitting .417 on the year with 14 home runs and 45 RBI's. She leads the ACC in all three categories.
Other key contributors for Carolina include senior Dionne Streete and junior Jessica Young. Streete is hitting .312 on the year with eight home runs and 25 RBI's. Young is batting .306 with five home runs and 28 RBI's.
Sophomores Crystal Cox and Alison Yin will be on the mound Saturday for the Tar Heels. Cox has a 1.65 ERA with 253 strikeouts on the season and is 21-11. Yin is 16-7 and has a 1.90 ERA.
Campbell is led by Erica Willis and Jessica Huffmann. Willis leads the team with a .298 batting average and Huffmann has four home runs and a team-leading 24 RBI's for the year.
UNC will honor their five seniors before game one, as each player's parents will be on hand. Carolina has won 142 games with two NCAA Tournament appearances and an ACC Title during the senior's tenure at Carolina.
