Thanksgiving In Mexico

The Tar Heel women's basketball team is having a great time in Mexico, taking its Caribbean Classic games seriously but also enjoying all that the Aventura Spa Palace resort has to offer. On Thanksgiving, the players spent part of the day parasailing, and the entire traveling party - which also includes staff, many families and fans - gathered for a holiday buffet dinner on the beach.
UNC opened play Friday with a 79-72 win over No. 16 Arizona State. The Tar Heels will take on TCU Saturday before making the return trip to Chapel Hill on Sunday.
