John Bunting's weekly TV show is normally seen each Saturday morning at 9 o'clock throughout North Carolina and the Southeast on Fox Sports South, but not this week.
This Saturday the 30-minute show can only be seen in the Triangle on Time-Warner Cable, Channel 24, and the change is due to Hurricane Rita.
The head coach's weekly preview show is normally distributed to various cable outlets by Fox Sports South from its distribution center in Houston, Texas. However, with Hurricane Rita bearing down on the Texas city, Fox Sports has shut down the center and evacuated its employees.
Tar Heel Sports Marketing, which produces the show, made last minute effots to get the show aired Saturday, prior to the game at N.C. State, on cable systems in the Triad and Charlotte, but could not get approval.
WTVD, ABC 11, in the Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville market, will air the Sunday review show in its normal slot at 11:00 a.m.
The weekly review show will be carried Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., and Thursday at 8:00 p.m., on Time-Warner Cable in the Triangle.
