Tar Heel Golfer Lauren Hunt Moves Up To Third Place At Harder Hall

SEBRING, FLA. - Lauren Hunt, a freshman on North Carolina¹s women¹s golf team, fired a one-under-par 71 in the second round for an even par 144 total and is tied for third place after the two rounds of the 51st annual Harder Hall Invitational Tournament.
Hunt, from Little River, S.C., trails leader Stacy Lewis, who plays collegiately at Arkansas, by six strokes. Lewis carded a pair of 69s in the first two rounds. Michelle Jarman, from UNC-Wilmington, carded a 72 for a 143 total, and is just one stoke ahead of Carolina¹s Hunt.
Another Tar Heel freshman, Sydney Crane, from Jamestown, N.C., is tied for 37th place after posting rounds of 80-78 for a 158 total. Crane made the the cut following the second round which includes the top 41 players. The 72-hole event continues through Saturday and is being played at Harder Hall Golf Course, which features a par 72, 6,151-yard layout.
