Tar Heel Golfer Lauren Hunt Moves Tied For 12th Place At Harder Hall Invitational

Sebring, Fla - Lauren Hunt, a freshman on North Carolina's women's golf team, carded a 78 in the final round for a 304 total and finished in a tie for 12th place at the 51st annual Harder Hall Invitational Tournament. Hunt, from Little River, S.C., finished 18 strokes behind champion Stacy Lewis of Arkansas who posted a 286 total. Hunt fired rounds of 73-71-82-78.
Another Tar Heel freshman, Sydney Crane, from Jamestown, N.C., tied for 27th place with a 316 total after carding a 75 in the final round. She tallied a 316 total after carding rounds of 80-78-82-75.
The 72-hole event was played Jan. 4-7 at Harder Hall Golf Course, which features a par 72, 6,151-yard layout.
