Game Notes From Tar Heels' ACC Semifinal Win Over Clemson

• Elizabeth Guess had three points Friday night which moved her into sixth place all-time in ACC Tournament scoring with 20 points. Guess passed both Lindsay Tarpley and Mia Hamm on the scoring list Friday night. The career record is held by UNC's Robin Confer with 31 points.
• Elizabeth Guess is now tied with Carolina's Alyssa Ramsey for fifth place in career tournament goals scored with seven.
• Carolina has now made the championship game of every ACC Tournament ever played. The Tar Heels are 19-0 in ACC Tournament semifinal matches. Carolina is 48-0-2 in all games in conference tournament history.
• The win was the 20th of the year for the Tar Heels. They have now won 20 matches in a row for 18 straight seasons, a streak with started in 1989. UNC has won 20 or more matches in 23 of their 28 varsity seasons.
• Carolina's 20-match win streak is its longest since it won 31 in a row in 2003 (27-0) and 2004 (4-0 start to the season).
• Heather O'Reilly had three points on the night, giving her 153 for her career. O'Reilly moved into sole possession of 12th place in career scoring at Carolina Friday night. Amy Machin ranks 11th with 157 points.
• Heather O'Reilly's goal was the 55th of her career which moves her into a tie for 13th place in UNC career goal scoring with Stephanie Zeh. Alyssa Ramsey ranks 12th with 57 career goals.
• Anna Rodenbough's 15 solo shutouts this season are the most by a UNC goalkeeper since Aly Winget had 16 solo shutouts in 2003.
• Rodenbough has played all 1,910 minutes in goal for UNC this season, allowing only seven goals. Her goals against average is 0.33.
• Whitney Engen has six points in the tournament so far. She had two goals in the win over NC State Wednesday and added two assists Friday night.
