Gerraughty Named USTFCCCA Regional Field Athlete Of The Year

Senior Laura Gerraughty was named the Southeast Region Female Field Athlete of the Year by the United State Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced this week. Gerraughty, the 2006 NCAA runner-up in the shot put, was the ACC champion with a meet record throw of 61 feet, 11 inches.
