Tar Heel Town & The Old Well Walk

Tar Heel Town, the popular pregame gathering place for Carolina football fans, located on the campus's main quad between Wilson Library and South Building, opens on Saturday at 4 p.m. Tar Heel Town features great music, food and games.
The Old Well Walk, a tradition started in 2001 by head coach Kenan Stadium.
Countdown to Kickoff will be broadcast in Tar Heel Town on WRDU 106.1. The show will feature commentary on games across the country and interviews with former Tar Heel football players. At 6 p.m., Woody Durham, Ken Mack and Jones Angell will begin the Tar Heel Sports Network pregame show leading up to Saturday's 7 p.m. kickoff.
Some of the vendors scheduled to appear at Tar Heel Town this season include the General Alumni Association (face painting), UNC Student Stores (merchandise) and the Rams Club (posters, schedule cards, etc.). Interactive games, inflatables and other activities for kids also will be available.

Tickets - Tickets for Saturday's game may be purchased at TarHeelBlue.com or on game day at the the UNC Ticket Office will call windown located at the East end of the stadium. The will call window opens three hours prior to kickoff.
Turn It Blue - Carolina fans are encouraged to show their school spirit by wearing Carollina Blue on game days this fall. You can purchase your official Turn It Blue t-shirts at Chapel Hill Sportswear on Franklin Street.
Tar Heel Express Park & Ride - The best way to get to the game, Tar Heel Express has four convenient locations.
Friday Center - Service starts three hours prior to kickoff.
Jones Ferry Road - Service starts one and a half hours prior to kickoff.
Southern Village - Service starts one and a half hours prior to kickoff.
University Mall (Dillard's Parking Lot) - Service starts three hours prior to kickoff.
Drop off site is one block from Kenan Stadium and Tar Heel Town. Return trips begin immediately after the game and continue for approximately 45 minutes. A round trip ticket is $5. For more information call 968-2769.
