Christine Robella Named EAGL Gymnast of the Week

University of North Carolina senior Christine Robella was named the East Atlantic Gymanstics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week today for the week of Jan. 15-22. A native of Alexandria, Va., Robella won the all-around with a 38.450 at the George Washington Invitational on Jan. 21 in Washington, D.C. Robella also captured first place on the floor exercise (9.750) and the vault (9.700). This is Robella's fifth EAGL Gymnast of the Week title; she received the honor twice during each of her sophomore and junior years.
Robella and the Tar Heels (4-0) next meet is on Friday, Jan. 26 at the University of Kentucky.
