CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Due to expected inclement weather this weekend, No. 2 North Carolina has tweaked the schedule for its Atlantic Coast Conference baseball series with Duke. The Tar Heels and Blue Devils will still open the three-game set at 7 p.m. Friday and will follow with a doubleheader Saturday with games at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. No game will be played Sunday.
The "Kids Take Over The Bosh" promotion will still be held for the 2 p.m. game Saturday as scheduled.
The "Cuts for a Cure" event will take place after the second game Saturday, and every Tar Heel will shave his head on the field. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of Carolina fans, the project has already raised $4,020 in honor of Reece Holbrook and student manager Chase Jones; the money will benefit the North Carolina Children's Hospital through the Reece Holbrook Golf Classic.
