Defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis got off to a great start on Thursday night with a 41-10 victory over New Orleans. The Colts are led by quarterback Peyton Manning, but Manning is quick to give credit to former North Carolina standout Jeff Saturday and the rest of the offensive line for protecting him so well.
Saturday earned Pro Bowl honors for the second consecutive season last year and was named to USA Today Sports Weekly NFL All-Pro First-Team and Associated Press NFL All-Pro Second-Team.
For those of you in the Indy area or anyone traveling to a Colts home game, you might want to check out Penn Station East Coast Subs, which last year offered a "Saturday" promotion - a small fry and a 21-ounce drink for 63 cents (Jeff's number) - every Saturday during football season. No word yet on if this promotion is continuing in 2007.
