Rain Cancels Game Three Of Carolina-State Series

CARY, N.C. - Game three of this weekend's baseball series between No. 3 North Carolina and NC State was canceled due to rain and cannot be made up due to Atlantic Coast Conference regulations. The Tar Heels captured Friday's game, 5-2, with the Wolfpack winning Saturday, 8-6.
Carolina (21-5, 8-3 ACC) will host midweek games in Cary Tuesday against UNC Greensboro and Wednesday against Appalachian State. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. in both contests.
