GREENSBORO, N.C. - Three members of the 2008 University of North Carolina men's tennis team were named Thursday to the 2008 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis Team, the most selections Carolina has had on the honor squad since the 2004 season.
All three Tar Heels named to the team are sophomores at Carolina. The selections include Clay Donato of Toronto, Ontario, Stefan Hardy of Santa Maria, Calif., and Chris Kearney of Irvine, Calif. Kearney was named to the All-ACC Team for the second successive season.
North Carolina, Virginia and Florida State led all schools this year with three selections each. The three selections are the most for UNC since four players were named in 2004.

He has combined with Hardy at No. 2 doubles to produce a 16-4 record, 10-2 in dual meets. Hardy's overall singles record is 18-10 and he is 13-6 in dual mets. Kearney is ranked No. 4 in the nation in doubles with a record of 19-7, playing with junior Taylor Fogleman. Kearney is 19-5 overall in singles with a dual match record of 17-3, 9-1 in the ACC.
