On the day of the game we were really excited to see where we would play and what the other team's style was. We had to drive an hour outside of London to the suburbs to get to the gym.
The game felt a lot different to all of us - especially because we played four 10-minute quarters and had no TV timeouts. This changed the game's tempo a lot. Coach Hatchell also let everyone play equal time which was a new dynamic but also very fun. It was different playing without LaToya and Erlana too.
The British girls were really nice and were fun to play against. Our fans were great cheerleaders!
After getting back to the hotel, we packed our stuff for the early morning departure and explored a little more of London before going to bed. It was a great first stop on our trip.
