Balmer Arrives In San Fran

North Carolina first-round NFL Draft pick Kentwan Balmer arrived in San Francisco earlier this week for a press conference and tour of the facilities. He met several players and coaches at the facility, including former Tar Heel offensive tackle Jeb Terry, who signed with the 49ers six weeks prior. The 49ers followed Balmer throughout the day with a video camera and the video can be seen at www.sf49ers.com. Balmer, a native of Weldon, N.C., is the 17th all-time first-round draft pick in school history.
