Elon's bats came to life in the bottom of the second after an RBI triple from 1b Mike Lobacz and RBI single from lf Greg Annarummo. The Mount has been charged two errors, but a 4-6-3 double play ended Elon's run in the bottom half of the second. The Phoenix have had a banner year in 2008 at the plate, setting records for runs scored and home runs. A correction to the post earlier, Florida State and Florida began play at 1:00 p.m. The Gators lead 1-0 over highly ranked FSU after one.
