After seven innings of play Elon leads 6-1 over Mount Saint Marys. Elon scored on an error by shortstop Drew Counselman. Starting pitcher Brett Moore left after 6.1 innings of work, allowing six runs on seven hits. New pitcher Kent Worthington entered the game and immediately picked off Cory Harrilchak at second base. Kenneth Ferrer is still pitching into the eighth inning, as he has only given up one hit since the second inning. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels team bus has arrived for their 5:00 p.m. start against the Seahawks of UNC-Wilmington.
