Kentwan Balmer, San Francisco - Rookie defensive end appeared in first NFL game, played special teams in 23-13 loss against Cardinals Sunday.
Dre' Bly, Denver - 10-year veteran defensive back helped lead the Broncos to a 41-14 win over the Raiders Monday night.
Jason Brown, Baltimore - Center, who started all 16 games last year at left guard, helped Ravens rush for over 200 yards in 17-10 win over Cincinnati Sunday.
Alge Crumpler, Tennessee-Veteran tight end, in first year with Titans, caught one pass for four yards in 17-10 win over Jacksonville.
Ronald Curry, Oakland-Veteran wide receiver caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown as the Raiders lose big to the Broncos 41-14..
Ebenezer Ekuban, Denver - Veteran defensive end, who missed all of 2007 season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, recorded one tackle as the Broncos defeated the Raiders 41-14.
Greg Ellis, Dallas - Veteran linebacker recorded three tackles in 28-10 win over Cleveland Sunday.
Madison Hedgecock, NY Giants - Fullback caught one pass for four yards and helped the Giants rush for 154 yards in 16-7 win over Redskins Thursday night.
Vonnie Holliday, Miami - Veteran defensive end, entering 11th season in NFL, recorded two tackles in 20-14 loss to Jets Sunday.
Willie Parker, Pittsburgh - Experienced running back rushed for 138 yards on 25 attempts and scored three touchdowns in Steelers 38-17 romp over Texans Sunday.
Julius Peppers, Carolina - Veteran defensive end recorded one tackle in last second 26-24 win over Chargers Sunday.
Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh - Veteran place kicker converted one field goal attempt of 44 yards to help the Steelers win big over the Texans 38-17 Sunday.
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis - Veteran center expected to miss at least the first six weeks of the season after suffering ligament damage to his right knee in the preseason, Colts lose 29-13 to Bears.
