North Carolina associate head coach and recruiting coordinator John Blake is staying in Chapel Hill despite interest from some NFL clubs. Blake, who also serves as Carolina's defensive line coach, is widely considered the nation's top recruiter.
"There has been a lot of speculation about where I would be next season and rumors of my departure are false," said Blake. "I appreciate the loyal support of the Carolina fans and I enjoy working with Coach Davis and this staff. Carolina is home for me and my family. We are building a great program and I look forward to next week's signing day and spring practice."
