Ride Tar Heel Express Shuttle To The UNC-FSU Football Game

Chapel Hill Transit (CHT) will provide Tar Heel Express shuttle service on Thursday, October 22, 2009, for the North Carolina football game against Florida State, scheduled for 8 p.m. at Kenan Stadium. Shuttles will begin at 5 p.m. from the Friday Center and University Mall park and rides and 6:30 p.m. from the Southern Village and Jones Ferry Road park and rides. The shuttles will provide continuous and fully accessible service, running every 10 to 15 minutes between the park and rides and Kenan Stadium. The shuttles will operate for forty-five (45) minutes following the game.
The Touch Downtown shuttle offers an additional opportunity to enjoy Downtown Franklin Street before and after each North Carolina home football game with two additional park and ride lots - the `P-lot' (adjacent to the Giles Horney Building at 103 Airport Drive) and the "725-lot" (725 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard). These shuttles operate three (3) hours prior to kick-off and three (3) hours following the game. Shuttle rides are $5 for a round-trip or $3 for a one-way trip.
