Dyer Named To All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina center Lowell Dyer has been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic team for the second consecutive season. Dyer, who is double majoring in English and philosophy with a minor in business, played in all 13 games last year and started eight.
To be eligible for consideration, a player must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. All 12 ACC schools were represented by at least one selection on the team.
