Coming off the first March sellout in Carolina baseball history--a crowd of 4,100 packed Boshamer Stadium to watch Saturday's 5-2 win over Clemson--fans have a chance to make it a doubleheader Sunday on what is expected to be a gorgeous Chapel Hill day.
First pitch between the Tar Heels and Tigers on Sunday is scheduled for 1 p.m. under perfect Chapel Hill skies. That gives fans already planning to attend the basketball game at the Smith Center (or planning to watch it on Franklin Street) the perfect opportunity to arrive on campus early, get a parking spot, and take in a few innings of baseball. Sophomore Matt Harvey, rated the best sophomore in America by Baseball America, takes the mound for the Tar Heels in the deciding game of a key early-season ACC series.
Tickets are available online now. Buying early online for weekend series is the easiest and best way to avoid finding a "Sold out" sign at the ticket window, as hundreds of fans did on Saturday. All online ticket purchases will be available at will call.
