Carolina Baseball Signs 16 For 2011 Season

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Tickets to the highly-anticipated 2009 NCAA Chapel Hill Super Regional between No. 4 national seed North Carolina and East Carolina were sold out Wednesday. The UNC Ticket Office held a private presale to supporters the baseball program, and they made sure that Boshamer Stadium will be packed as the Tar Heels aim for a fourth straight trip to the College World Series.

For those that purchased tickets, confirmation emails were sent out last night by the UNC Ticket Office. If you did not receive an email, contact the ticket office at 919-962-2296.

The Tar Heels and Pirates will open the best-of-three series Saturday at noon on ESPNU and will also play at noon Sunday on ESPN. The third game, if needed, will played Monday at 1 p.m. on ESPN or at 7 p.m. on ESPN2. Jones Angell and Adam Lucas will have the call for all three games for the Tar Heel Sports Network.
