Chapel Hill, N.C. ----- North Carolina has qualified for a postseason bowl game for the third consecutive year after posting a 7-5 record in 2010. The Tar Heels will be notified of their bowl destination by Sunday, Dec. 5, at the latest. Once the destination is revealed, TarHeelBlue.com will be your source for Carolina ticket information and travel packages. Carolina fans can purchase tickets from TarHeelBlue.com beginning Sunday.
The 2010 bowl game will be the final college game for 17 Carolina seniors, 13 of whom will graduate in December with the other four on track to graduate in May. This senior class has led UNC to three consecutive bowl games, the longest streak since advancing to eight straight from 1991-98.
