Ingersoll Named Academic All-ACC

Greensboro, N.C. - University of North Carolina offensive tackle Mike Ingersoll was named to the 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Football Team. Ingersoll, a native of Mint Hill, N.C., started 12 of 13 games last year. He is a junior communication studies major.
To be eligible for consideration, a player must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. The ACC has selected an ACC All-Academic Football team every year since 1954.
