ATHENS, Ga. -
Jordan Allyne and Courtney Gunter led the North Carolina women's golf effort in the final round of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Sunday where the team finished with a total 928 for a tie at seventh. Allyne and Gunter both went five-over par 77 for the day.
"We didn¹t have a great day today, but overall we had a good tournament," says Tar Heel head Coach Jan Mann. "We beat a lot of team that were ranked ahead of us and we did some good things over the three days of play. I think this has been good preparation for the ACC Championships."

Duke's Lindy Duncan continued her stronghold at the top of the leader board finishing three-under par for the classic. In a tie for second were Duke's Stacy Kim and Alabama's Jennifer Kirby.
