Wilson, Thomas Selected In NFL Draft

North Carolina defensive linemen E.J. Wilson and Cam Thomas were selected in the fourth and fifth rounds, respectively, on the final day of the 2010 NFL Draft. Wilson, a 6-3, 280-pound defensive end from Emporia, Va., was taken by the Seattle Seahawks with the 127th overall pick, while Thomas was taken 146th overall by the San Diego Chargers.
Wilson continued to improve throughout his career and last season had a career-best 49 tackles and ranked tied for second on the nation's No. 6 rated defense with 12 tackles for losses. He started 37 games in his career, including 32 straight from 2007-09.
Thomas is a 6-3, 325-pound defensive tackle from Eagle Springs, N.C., who was a three-year starter. He had 34 tackles as a junior in 2008 and 23 in 2009. Last season, he scored his first career touchdown on a 20-yard fumble return at Boston College.
